The No Rules Guide to Whole Foods Plant-Based Cooking



This first issue is inspired by Sue’s childhood growing up in the countryside in China. It features some nostalgic and fun recipes in a fully-illustrated format. They’re simple dishes you can make on a daily using common, less-processed ingredients. All are vegan and oil-optional.


With this book, we make recipes simple by showing them in a visual way. Each dish is divided into sections or goals, measured using intuitive proportions, and recommends using common, less-processed ingredients. By presenting recipes in a minimalist way, you can feel free to customize each dish to be as simple or decadent as you like.


We wanted to do something that will empower people to improve their health during this current pandemic, and make a contribution to the healing of our community.
